The Total Stop on the unit ( module) Turns off the machine once pressure has been reached (prime) The machine cycles back on once pressure is released ( trigger pull) or when their is a leak.
The most common issue is a leak in the pump it's self. Usually this is from the pump being left in the garage durring freezing temps where the seals on the pump separate.
Is your pump leaking out the bottom when you turn on your supply?
Regardless of this leak, your pump will still operate normally ( possibly loosing some PSI in washing power) but otherwise will function. If you are interested in extending the life of the motor, simply turn the machine off when you are not using it over an extended period.
