This is normal, Did you try pulling the trigger after?
Explained:
Once Supply ( water) is on and attached to your machine. Upon turning your machine on it will ( turn on) Pressurize and then stop once it reaches MAX PSI.
If you pull the trigger the pressure will release from your trigger gun and the machine will turn back on as it attempts to keep up with pressure demand.
