Hello,
Thanks for reaching out. This is a common issue if you leave your lance in and have not removed it in a while.

Solution:
Spray a lubricant in the joint of the lance and gun connection. This will aid you in the removal.
1) Press lance and gun connection together
2) twist so it passes by the locking space
3) pull apart.
Tip:
Before putting the new lance in, use a little petroleum jelly on the o-ring to assure lubrication.
