The AR630 is a triplex plunger pump, designed to perform best with a positive (pressurized) water supply, rather than pulling water from a lift.
-
Maximum allowable suction (vacuum):
• Up to -0.1 bar (≈ 3 inHg) at the pump inlet during operation
• This equates to very minimal lift capability only -
Recommended setup for best performance:
• Pressure-fed water supply: 30–80 PSI (up to 145 PSI max)
• Gravity-fed tank: Pump positioned below the water source (positive head)
While the AR630 can tolerate a small amount of suction, it is not designed for high suction lift applications. For optimal performance, longevity, and consistent output, it should always be fed with pressurized or gravity-assisted water.
